Where can I get information on flights to and from your airport?

How much is parking?
The rates are $6.50 per night. You will pay for your parking inside the terminal next to the rental car counter. Be sure to place your receipt face up on your vehicle's dashboard.
Will I have to pay for parking if someone drops me off?
No, but the front of the terminal building is limited to loading and unloading of passengers and baggage. No vehicles and no baggage may be left unattended.

What time does the airport terminal open?
The terminal is open at 5:30am and closes at 7:30pm. The airline ticket counter, car rental agencies and other tenants of the airport have their own operating hours.
How early should I arrive at the airport before my flight?
Allegiant flights: arrive 2 hours before departure time. Cape Air flights: arrive 1 hour before departure time. Click here for recommendations from your airline and TSA on when to arrive for your flight. We encourage our passengers to allow more time during peak travel periods and inclement weather.
Can I escort a child or someone needing help to the gate?
Your airline may issue a pass for someone to escort an unaccompanied minor child, an elderly person or someone with special needs through the security screening checkpoint and to the gate. You will still be required to show valid government issued identification. It's a good idea to contact your airline to arrange a pass before your travel date.
What type of identification is required?
Passengers 18 and over are required to show photo identification issued by federal or state government that contains your name, date of birth, gender and an expiration date. Click here to see acceptable documents.
I need a wheelchair. What do I do?
This service is provided by the airline. Make arrangements in advance when you make your airline reservation.
How much is an airline ticket to my destination?
Prices fluctuate constantly. For the most current prices visit the airline's website. Airline tickets are purchased through the airline of your choice, Allegiant Air or Cape Air.
How do I extend my parking stay?
If your vehicle will be parked past your receipt's expiration date, you can easily extend your stay by paying over the phone. Call the airport administration office at 270-685-4179 ext. 5 during business hours.
Do I really need to arrive at your small airport 2 hours early?
Each airline has different recommendations that is usually based on the number of passengers per flight, NOT the airport size. Allegiant recommends arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before the departure time and states that passengers must be ready to board inside the gate area, 1 hour before departure. Do you have flights to _______?
We currently only have direct flights to Orlando/Sanford, Fl and St. Louis, MO. However, you can easily connect to over 70 other destinations in St. Louis.
Do I need a passport to fly within the United States?
No. Kentuckians can continue to use a valid KY driver's license or personal ID card to board commercial flights within the United States through October 10, 2018. Kentucky will apply for another 1-year extension in the fall.
