The airport serves a large portion of mid-western Kentucky and southern Indiana by providing the residents of this region access to the national air transportation system. As such, this airport is an integral and dynamic element in the welfare of the region. The Board pursues its objectives by employing a professional staff, and by working closely with the traveling public, various levels of government, the airlines and a variety of other groups whose goals are to serve the best interests of the community at large.
